PROGRAMS

The Atlas Global Initiative

The Initiative coordinates a network of ten major programs and many subsidiary projects working together across linguistic, cultural, and regional contexts to bring the ideas and policies of individual liberty, toleration, free markets, the rule of law, and peace to populations around the world.

Teach Freedom Initiative

This program seeks to identify and assist “intellectual entrepreneurs” within universities, who wish to create and develop academic centers that are dedicated to exploring the institutions of a free society.

Fund for the Study of Spontaneous Orders

The Fund for the Study of Spontaneous Orders recognizes and supports the work of scholars who apply the perspective of Austrian methodological individualism, which has greatly increased our understanding of free markets, to areas outside the realm of traditional economic study.

Think Tanks for a Secure Free Society

The Secure Free Societies program seeks to develop a global network of independent think tanks engaged in issues where Economics intersects with Security, Intelligence, and Defense.

Sound Money Project

Engages experts in the task of developing and refining a set of “sound money” principles with relevance to the world’s current challenges. The Project also intends to mobilize think tanks and scholars to be more active in promoting public policies that are consistent with these principles.

Freedom to Trade Campaign

The FreedomToTrade.org initiative is a coalition of 76 think tanks from 48 countries that have banded together to combat rising protectionism and to explain to the public, the media, and policy makers the benefits of free trade for prosperity and peace. The initiative releases policy papers, organizes conferences, lecture tours, and public events, produces videos, and uses social media to promote the freedom to trade.
