Africanliberty.org is the Global Initiative’s African-focused program. It was launched in December of 2007 and provides content in English and Swahili, as well as access to material in French, Portuguese, and Arabic. AfricanLiberty.org brings African voices for liberty to the wider world, and works with African media to disseminate policy ideas for a new century of peace, freedom, and prosperity; some by Western commentators, but most by African classical liberal writers. AfricanLiberty.org also produces audio and video content and works with African broadcast media, especially radio, on which Africanliberty.org editor Franklin Cudjoe is a frequent guest. In addition, AfricanLiberty.org has published books in African countries (in English and, in conjunction with UnMondeLibre.org and OrdemLivre.org, in French and Portuguese), including African editions of the works of Johan Norberg and Frederic Bastiat. Africanliberty.org also hosts an annual Liberty Academy for students and young professionals.
