The world is not perfect.
Freedom is elusive.
But reasons for hope are everywhere.

Attracting free-market think tank leaders from more than 40 countries, the Atlas Liberty Forum will be the freedom movement’s event of the year!

The Liberty Forum will feature many unsung heroes, from the U.S. and abroad, who are working to roll back socialism and restore free-market capitalism. Among them will be the winners of the 2012 Templeton Freedom Awards, as well as Atlas partners in countries as diverse and challenging as Afghanistan, Venezuela, Nepal, and Iran.

At Atlas’s gala Freedom Dinner – amid the glamour of Capitale in lower Manhattan – keynote speaker Virginia Postrel (author of The Future and Its Enemies) will be joined by Chen Guangcheng (the blind legal activist who escaped illegal detention in China earlier this year), Gurcharan Das (author of India Unbound), and the founder of the Afghanistan Economic and Legal Studies Organization, Mohammad Ramizpoor. Join Atlas for the Freedom Dinner, and raise a glass to the undying spirit of Freedom!

Additional conference highlights will include:

  • A “Think Tank Shark Tank” competition that will have Templeton Freedom Award winners competing for an additional cash prize.
  • Enlightening panel discussions on “The Future of the Euro,” “Creative Destruction in Higher Education,” “What Comes After the Welfare State?,” “The Liberty Youth Movement,” and high-level regional discussions, concerning Latin America and the Middle East.
  • A discussion on the direction of U.S. policy after the November election, with insights from Grover Norquist of Americans for Tax Reform.
  • Special presentations by your friends at Atlas, including Alex Chafuen, Leonard Liggio, Brad Lips, Deroy Murdock and Tom Palmer.
  • Networking opportunities among hundreds of free-market advocates.
  • An “Elevator Pitch” competition, featuring top participants in the Atlas Leadership Academy, for which you will cast a ballot as a judge.

And of course, you will enjoy fine dining and the thrill of being right in the heart of New York City, just a couple blocks from Times Square.

The Atlas Liberty Forum begins on the morning of Wednesday, October 3, at the InterContinental Times Square on West 44th Street. The Liberty Forum program includes two lunches, one breakfast, and an evening reception with heavy hors d’oeuvres. It concludes at 5 PM on Thursday, October 4, at which time you are invited to join us at Capitale (about a twenty-minute bus ride, on Bowery Street in lower Manhattan) for the gala Freedom Dinner (6:30 reception, and 7:30-9:30 dinner). Buses will be provided for transportation between the Intercontinental and Capitale.

Atlas has the critical mission of strengthening the worldwide freedom movement. You will be inspired when you meet the special people who sacrifice to fulfill this mission. You will see that reasons for hope are everywhere. Register today for the Atlas Liberty Forum and Freedom Dinner!
