Inliberty.ru
Inliberty.ru was founded in the fall of 2005 to provide Russian speakers with an alternative to socialism, mercantilism, and chauvinistic nationalism. Inliberty.ru publishes books, syndicates articles to the Russian media, including prominent publications such as Kommersant, sponsors essay contests and summer schools, organizes lectures and public forums, provides an online ‘library of freedom,’ produces podcasts, and more. In September 2008, Inliberty.ru published its latest book: Slovarny Zapas (“Vocabulary”) by Lev Rubinstein, the poet and Soviet dissident. The staff of Inliberty.ru have organized major policy conferences in the former eastern bloc for journalists, government ministers, members of parliament, think tank directors and students from countries of the former Soviet bloc and neighboring states. They also run annual summer schools in Alushta, Crimea.
