On June 28, 2004, Atlas held a workshop in Lisbon, Portugal, with the assistance of Colombian Ambassador Plinio Apuleyo Mendoza and Causa Liberal, a Portuguese think tank. As the first event Atlas has held in this country, the forum was very valuable — not just for the exchange of ideas that took place — but for learning about the institutions and individuals who are interested in the ideas of a free society, and connecting those people to their peers from other countries, including several policy leaders from Brazil.
Our goal on this Web page is to create a ‘virtual workshop,’ allowing attendees to revisit the papers and get in touch with other participants, as well as sharing some of the interesting findings with public viewers who were unable to attend.
