Index Assesses Financial Health of Canadian Provinces
The Frontier Centre for Public Policy released its second annual Local Government Performance Index. The Index compares the financial health and financial reporting standards of Canada’s 79 most populous municipalities. The Index pointed to major deficiencies in reporting across Canada and found that the highest-performing cities are located in Western Canada.
