IREN to Facilitate Student Exchange Program with Zimbabwe

As an African living abroad, I am encouraged by such news of inter regional networks amongst fellow Africans. It is my pleasure to tell you that the Inter Region Economic Network has signed a Memorandum of understanding with a Zimbabwe based think tank to facilitate a student exchange program. Students from Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi and Tanzania will spend a minimum of 2 weeks in Zimbabwe, and vice versa. The objective of the student exchange program is to foster regional cooperation among young people, and provide excellent opportunities for leadership and cultural experience.
