Making the Most of the Financial Crisis

Think tanks around the world have been seizing the opportunities that have been presented given the current financial climate. While at times, the outlook seems bleak, organizations are working to make the case that free market economic theories are the best ways to explain and to solve the economic crisis.

As you read earlier this week, CFE in South Korea has written extensively on the issue, In the United States groups have banded together to share information on the website Beyond Bailouts. Most recently, the Instytut Ludwig von Misesa has launch its’ own blog dedicated to discussing current financial issues. If you read Polish, definitely check out, Kryzys Blog.

Update:The Murray Rothbard Institute, a new think tank based in Brussels has launched a series of eight seminars on economic theory and the current crisis. You can get an English description of the program here, but if you’d like to see video of the panels (in Dutch) visit here.

We are eager to learn about other groups who are working to offer free market based solutions to the current financial troubles, so please, leave your links in the comments!
