Atlas Event: International Thursday, Dec 18th

Please join us for 2008′s last INTERNATIONAL THURSDAY held on December 18th at 10:00AM. We will bring together allies with interests abroad in an informal setting in order to (1) share perspectives on developments overseas, and (2) provide opportunities for networking and discovering synergies.

The confirmed speakers for this month’s meeting are:

  • Pete Boettke- Professor of Economics- George Mason University- Speaking on the economic crisis.
  • Fausta Wertz- Writer and author of various blogs including Faustas Blog- Speaking on Bolivia and its economic dangers.
  • Nuzaira Azam- Researcher and Journalist- speaking on recent bombing in Mumbai and the tension between India and Pakistan.

We will start promptly at 10:00 AM and conclude by 11:30 AM. Please feel free to arrive early to partake in light refreshments (coffee, bagels, etc).

Atlas’s “International Thursday” meetings are held in our conference room at Suite 550 at 2000 North 14th Street in Arlington. The office is just about four blocks from the Courthouse Metro (Pay parking available on the street or in the garage beneath the building).
