cepos_logoThis is the thirdĀ  in a series of posts introducing this year’ s five Fisher Venture Grant Recipients, view posts about the other winners here.

Atlas is pleased to acknowledge the Center for Political Studies in Denmark as a recipient of the 2009 Fisher Venture Grant Awards. Founded just four years ago, CEPOS has been instrumental in bringingĀ  a taxation debate to Denmark, working tirelessly for lower taxes. In addition to taxation, CEPOS focuses on other policy issues that work to limit the size and scope of the Danish government.

CEPOS’ programs include the CEPOS University, which educates university students about free market ideas. Goals for the future include creating a network of liberal minded supporters in Denmark, offering education to policy makers on free markets and extending their education to high school students.

CEPOS has won several awards from Atlas including a Fisher Award for publications in 2008

Congratulations to CEPOS!
