Congratulations to the Instituto Juan De Mariana in Spain!

This is the second in a series of posts introducing this year’ s five Fisher Venture Grant Recipients, view posts about the other winners here.

In it’s fourth year educating talented Spaniards, the Instituto Juan de Mariana (IJM) in Madrid has grown into its role as one oijmf the premier institutions for teaching the foundations of liberty.  As recognition for its growing influence and impact in promoting liberty to the Spanish speaking world, Atlas is proud to have them join an elite club of the most recent Fisher Venture Grant (FVG) winners, our most prestigious award.

Using it’s summer program and Masters in Austrian Economics, IJM is helping to develop the future generation of great thinkers, by exploring the works of Hayek, Menger, Mises and Bohm-Bawerk.   To facilitate this, they have collaborated in the past with the most prominent Classical Libera luniversity in Latin America – Universidad Francisco Marroquin (UFM) – to attract participation from renowned experts on Austrian thought for its year long, EU recognized, and now FVG award winning program.

We look forward to working closely with IJM in the years to come!
