Last week, Atlas participated in the Association for Private Enterprise Education (APEE) annual conference hosted by the Universidad Francisco Marroquin (UFM) in Guatemala. Prior to this conference, Atlas held a short workshop to discuss “Improving Student’s Appreciation of Free Market Thinking Through the Academy,” as part of its Teach Freedom Initiative (TFI) directed by Leonard Liggio. UFM took this opportunity to interview Dr. Liggio about the history of classical liberalism and its relevance to modern day challenges. UFM has been great at posting these type of videos on their website, as they have recently vamped up their new media efforts through the direction of Rebecca Zuñiga. Rebecca will be at our Liberty Forum in Los Angeles next week, to talk about how she has incorporated these new media strategies at UFM.
