Transparency in America

Lawrence Reed, current president of the Foundation of Economic Education, many of you probably know him as the executive director of the Mackinac Center which he led for 20 years, has an excellent article in FEE’s publication, The Freeman, ” Two Cheers for Transparency.”

This article highlights efforts by think tanks across the United States to bring transparency and accountability to their local governments.

Organization’s mentioned  include the Mackinac Center, The Texas Public Policy Foundation, Illinois Policy Institute, Sam Adams Alliance and the State Policy Network.
