Not to harp too much more on the CEDICE event in Venezuela, but I just wanted to quickly share an image that pays homage to our President Alex Chafuen. As a man that usually stays behind the scenes and thrives on the success of others, it was nice to see him getting some well deserved recognition via this photo that appeared in the Washington Post’s online digital photo collection. Under his leadership, the Atlas network in Latin America has grown tremendously and as testament to this statement, Gerardo Bongiovani of Fundacion Libertad in Argentina had this to say:
“If we look around the room, and each of us thinks about how it was that we all got here, mostly everyone in some way can connect it to the work of Atlas and Alex Chafuen.”
