Freedom Dinner Tickets On Sale Now

fdpromo_09Join us to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall at the Atlas Freedom Dinner in Washington, D.C. on November 9th at the Renaissance Mayflower Hotel.

Two decades ago, the scar that cut the world in half was healed, and those suffering under the slavery of communism joined hands with their allies in the West to rejoice at the crumbling of the Soviet Empire. The Freedom Dinner is your opportunity to honor the courageous efforts of those who risked or gave their lives for liberty, and to toast their heirs who continue to wage the war of ideas around the world.

THE 2009 FREEDOM DINNER WILL FEATURE:

Keynote address: Alan Charles Kors-one of the world’s leading authorities on the Enlightenment, defender of free speech, champion of academic liberty and co-founder of The Foundation for Individual Rights in Education (FIRE)

Master of Ceremonies: Walter E. Williams -John M. Olin Distinguished Professor of Economics, George Mason University
Toasts to Freedom: Remembering the sacrifices of Freedom’s Heroes:

  • Maria Corina Machado (Sumate, Venezuela)
  • Martin Chren (Hayek Foundation, Slovakia)
  • Natasha Srdoc (Adriatic Institute, Croatia)
  • Chung Ho Kim (Center for Free Enterprise, Korea)

In addition to the Gala Freedom Dinner, Atlas will host a daylong conference on Monday November 9th and a morning program on Tuesday November 10th, featuring heroes of the Cold War and inspiring think tank leaders including our Templeton Freedom Award winners.
