A Familiar Face Wins in Canada

Danielle Smith just this weekend was elected leader of the Wildrose Alliance a new political party in Canada. This party, which has one seat in the Alberta legislature, is gaining traction in the province and with Smith newly at the helm it should be exciting to see the steps forward they take.

Danielle was formerly the executive director of the Canadian Property Rights Research Institute ( Now Alberta) and a young intern at the Fraser Institute.  Atlas wrote about CanPRRI back in 1998, when the organization was only 1 year old.
