The indefatigable Dr. Parth Shah and his team at the Centre for Civil Society have put together what looks like two fantastic Hindi and English-language seminars entitled I, Society & Public Policy. While the Hindi-language seminar wrapped up a few days ago, students can still apply for the English-language version, which runs from January 20th to the 22nd.
The seminars “Engage young people with social and economic issues through an understanding of public policy. ISPP provides a greater understanding of the larger world-society, economy and the culture-within the classical liberal framework that emphasizes limited government, rule of law, free trade, and individual rights.”
As an added bonus, even those not attending the seminar can enjoy the reading list that CCS has put together for conference participants. Featuring readings from Jagdish Bhagwati, Israel Kirzner, Swaminathan Aiyar, Gurcharan Das, Ayn Rand, and John Stossel among others, it’s a wonderful resource for those who can’t make the 5,000 mile journey to New Delhi.
