Programs

Atlas’s individual programs allow for more specific and targeted involvement with organizations. While Atlas’s overall mission is to assist all organizations working towards expanding the free market, these programs fall within more specific areas. Atlas’s Teach Freedom Initiative program works specifically with professors within universities, to create and build academic centers within those universities. The Fund for the Study of Spontaneous Orders works primarily with economists doing individual research, the Secure Free Societies program encourages institutes to enter the field of security studies in an effort to provide freedom minded research, breaking the government monopoly on security studies. The Atlas Shrugged Program supports specific projects within a think tank that will advance the ideals contained within the novel, Atlas Shrugged. Finally, Atlas’s newest program, the Global Initiative for Free Trade, Peace and Prosperity offers a human-rights-based alternative to coercive ideologies  by showing the justice and the practical benefits of personal liberty and limitations on state power. The Initiative creates, manages, and promotes products and programs in a number of languages and encourages worldwide cooperation among those who understand and value liberty.
