When Atlas selected me as their web media fellow, I was told that a large part of the job would be to help organizations within the Atlas Network improve their online communication efforts. I’ve been doing so in various ways, like writing at the Atlas Toolkit blog and these updates. I’ve also been traveling North America with the Motorhome Diaries and working with organizations, on site, to help tune up web media operations and learn best practices that I can share with the rest of the network.

This is limited to North American think tanks but I would also like to receive questions or tips from anyone, anywhere in the Atlas Network. So please e-mail me with ways that you’ve been successful with new media or with questions you might have. If I don’t know the answer I’ll find someone who does.
